As announced in the Statement of Developmental and Regulatory Policies on March 27, 2020, the Reserve Bank will conduct TLTROs of up to three years tenor of appropriate sizes for a total amount of up to ₹ 100000 crores. So far, TLTROs for ₹ 50,000 crores have been conducted in two tranches. It has now been decided to conduct another TLTRO operation for ₹ 25,000 crores. The details of the operation are as under:
- The funds availed under this tranche of TLTRO would have to be deployed within 30 working days from the date of the operation.
- All other operational guidelines as given in Reserve Bank’s Press Release 2019-2020/2131 dated March 27, 2020 will remain the same.
