The IEC Code is a set of rules that countries must follow when exporting electrical and electronic equipment, software, and services to other countries. The IEC Code was created in 1989 and has since been updated several times. The most recent update was in 2013.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Registration for IEC code<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The steps to register an IEC code for exporters and importers as given below:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>An application form such as AayaatNiryaat form 2A format and submit it with the concerned DGFT.<\/li>\n<li id=\"documents\">Along with the form, you will have to file all the identity documents such as your Passport, Aadhar card, PAN card, and so forth.
